In 2024, CHIC has been continuously strengthening its technical barriers. Our CTO said something truly astonishing: “We don’t choose any blockchain, we use for cross-chain!”
Due to META’s open-source nature and the composability of on-chain assets, CHIC has developed its own objective reality for autonomous worlds—On-Chain Reality!
Note: CHIC is not GameFi. So please don’t participate with the expectation of playing to earn or as an investment.
As NFTs enter the no-code realm, we believe that the technical requirements for CHIC’s non-standard autonomous world are extremely high. With the rapid innovation in the NFT space, CHIC officially enters the difficulty level comparable to DePIN NFTs with the introduction of “AI-NFT.” ERC-721A may no longer be suitable for Web3 technology companies after 2025.
Deep learning has advanced generative AI, and CHIC has added effective functionalities to its initial product, “Genesis Diary.” We believe this will be the first non-game realization of a “world” within AI x Web3 in the autonomous world, which will be groundbreaking!
Additionally, CHIC hopes that “Your Local” will become your key data storage area, as we place great importance on privacy and security. We want users to be able to use Dove AI with our “Genesis Diary,” whether connected or offline.
MUD, developed by Lattice, is one of the most outstanding full-stack Web3 game engines, and we greatly appreciate the open-source advantages it offers! CHIC will use MUD as a stable on-chain data management engine to protect user’s unique features. A standout feature of MUD is connecting users to play across different games within the MUD engine.
Of course, CHIC lacks specific gaming entities, and cross-chain digital assets have already become a reality. The simplicity of CHIC’s NFT style minimizes artistic conflicts between games, and we believe that the “possibility of assets crossing between games” still exists!
MUD will also simplify smart contract development, storing them in interactive “spaces” within CHIC’s various DLC smart contracts. This will organize and construct an abstract autonomous world built from smart contracts from the developer’s perspective. MUD will realize “dynamic storytelling” through AI linked with smart contracts and allow complex code to be integrated into a “world” spanning multiple developer spaces across MUD. This is the significant advantage CHIC gains by utilizing MUD. It is the key to future “autonomy.”
It is worth noting that only transactions involve on-chain interactions, as CHIC’s nature differs greatly from regular FOCG. AW does not necessarily require building a virtual world on-chain from scratch. It is a “world” constructed by AI and digital assets, so it “feels fully on-chain” but “AI backend is off-chain.” MUD will allow CHIC’s AW to have infinite expansion potential in a future decentralized environment.
The team regards “autonomous agents” as CHIC’s ultimate goal, but current AI lacks “initiative” and operates solely through automation. CHIC’s goal is to create a “fully autonomous world,” which means these agents are not game NPCs but multi-agent systems. However, I believe that in the future, we can realize a prototype of “autonomous agents” at the intersection of smart contracts and LLM: What if we built AIs that could own themselves?
Currently, users can use Dove AI to complete a series of basic tasks, such as multilingual voice translation for websites, helping players overcome writer’s block and inspire creativity, voice-to-voice chatting, task assignment, etc. Many future functionalities are included in the DLC. At present, we only offer the “foundation.”
The current prototype of autonomous agents is “intelligent tokens,” and we are confident that with technological advancements, we will soon enter CHIC’s official “multi-agent era.”
This is quite a complex process. We use ERC-5169 (smart tokens) as one of the channels for interacting with Dove AI and users. Users can give instructions to the token, and the token will “talk” with Dove AI following those instructions. We expect that the missions users receive from directly interacting with Dove AI will be the “main storyline,” while the “side quests” will need to be generated through the interaction between smart tokens and Dove AI, undergoing different variations via automated SaaS. The amount of information contained in these tokens makes them more than just tokens.
They might be your world progression.
Of course, this also includes interaction with ERC-6551, and the flow of smart tokens can be observed within the Citizen NFTs’ NFT wallet in the CHIC Autonomous World. This means that only CHIC’s Citizen NFTs have the ability to see the CHIC smart tokens on-chain. If users do not have this wallet, they cannot acquire smart tokens because the tokens are currently locked within the “world.”
The integration of these four technologies is something CHIC continues to explore, and the on-chain world we envision is exactly as described.
Our proudest achievement is developing Dove AI, our own AI. Based on Llama 3.2 LLM, we also utilize this excellent models to enhance Dove AI’s accomplishments in text creation!
